Smokey Trail

Well it’s been a good year for the band, with lots of good press, and great gigs,

The Plough Jam Session is going very well with fantastic support from local musicians,

I would like to thank Kieron from the Crown Folk Club for all the help & support along the way, and his special guest spot, It also great to see Mark coming to the sessions and all his family,

Kayne has been Fantastic and has gained a big following with the ladies, (I don’t know what they see in him) but he is going from strength to strength and will go far, when he finishes his exams,

The band has a wide range of gigs to look forward to, from the Folk Trains, Local Clubs, Wine Bars, Party’s,

I am also playing with Doctor Bob & the Wild Boys with gigs all over Cheshire,

(They just love the Wash Board)

 Why run a music session??

The Plough Session started off as a small practice area to run through our songs, and then slowly grew to become one of the best jam sessions in the area, the atmosphere is electric and  its my kind of music, and I get a lot of enjoyment in taking part in playing with talent musicians, if you have not been yet could I suggest that it’s worth the trip, and is very laid back, and run as a sing around,

The Trail.

Travelling all over the western front the trail is becoming very dusty, and dry, hardly finding time to tie the horses up, back in Texas it was easy to find a watering hole,

The Terrain is tough and Smokey, and were here to stay, yes we can make it, just watch this trail, I can recommend a good hoe down to get you going and a telegraph message down the wire to spring us into action, with the ever talented world famous:

Guitar picking, Washboard Playing, Mandolin big screen star, Patrick, fronting this incredible band, no stage is to big, no event could phase us.

Forthcoming Gun Fights.

See us back at Cassidy’s in a final showdown, not in the back.

The Plough on the 1st & 3rd Sunday. (Please don’t throw any more glasses,& chairs)

Folks Trains what for the time table & the red skins,

Local Club guest spots, (I am not telling you……)

Local Weston Radio Interviews that should be great,

Charity Gigs

The Front Line.

This can change according to the type of gigs we undertake, from a Duo, Trio, our 5 Piece with a fiddle and bass, we provide the best entertainment going, tell us what kind of event you are running and we will rise to the occasion, with a vast amount of material and unique sound, we will leave you wanting more.
